The Hair Counseling Institute (HCI) was founded by Lian Cenzano, a hairstylist and mental health counselor whose vision is to bridge beauty and psychology. HCI connects beauty professionals with mental health education through trauma-informed, neuroscience-based learning. Our mission is to promote emotional wellness, provide professional certification for hairstylists and counselors, and create supportive communities where healing begins through connection, care, and creativity.
